There’s only one Thanksgiving movie that I know of, and that’s Free Birds. It’s a little weird, and a little crazy. It’s got the kind of story you’d have to be drunk to come up with. Part buddy-cop comedy, part time-travel historical epic with a little romance thrown in. It’s the kind of movie that shouldn’t work, but for me it does. I rated it higher than it deserves. It’s corny. It’s cheesy. But I love it. Now streaming on Netflix.
