Romance author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) gets kidnapped after a book tour event by billionaire Abigail Fairfax (Daniel Radcliffe), who’s confused fiction with reality, and believes the treasure in the lost city of Loretta’s latest novel is real. When her cover model Alan (Channing Tatum witnesses the kidnapping, he takes off after her with the hope of being able to rescue her and prove that he can be an actual hero not just a pretty face on a book cover.
I had a lot of fun watching this one! the story is a great combination of action and romance. It was laugh-out-loud funny and the cast was amazing.I haven’t had this much fun watching a movie in a while! Daniel Radcliffe was the best part of the movie! Abigail was crazy and unhinged. I loved it! But it doesn’t matter who he plays, he’ll always be Harry Potter to me.
However, I have seen way more of Channing Tatum’s butt than I ever wanted to see! As in I never ever in a million years wanted to see it and could’ve gone my entire life without seeing it! Why?!? That scene went on way too long for my liking! Several characters get killed onscreen. One of them is very bloody, but I’ll take blood splattering everywhere over staring at the butt of a guy I’m not in the least bit attracted to any day of the fricking week!
Other issues include sexual innuendo and language including ass, asshole, shit, both the names of Jesus and God get misused, and dick(s). You can stream The Lost City now on Amazon Prime.
